RED SHIRTS

Red Shirts is a two-piece indie/emo band from Springfield, MO. They play sad pop songs over happy “punk” (if you have a loose definition of punk) music. Started by guitarist/vocalist Jace Ludlum to (unsuccessfully)impress girls he recruited drummer Chris Campbell to carry the heavy equipment.

With one album under their belt and plenty of live shows, they hit the studio (Jace's living room) to self produce their sophomore album "GrandmaCore". Drawing influence from artist such as The Pixies, Modern Baseball and Surf Curse to write songs about being to old to mosh and being sad.

With quirky lyrics, loud guitars, and a drum set begging for mercy Red Shirts put on a passionate and high energy performance both on the stage and in studio
